PTA coordinates a number of events
during the school year. In chronological order here are some
of the highlights of what the Brook Knoll PTA DOES:
- Coordinates Back to school packets Before school starts,
PTA coordinates with the office the printing/updating/stuffing
of the forms to go out on the first days of school.
- Runs a Membership drive. Each year PTA asks parents to
become members.
- Coordinates Volunteer data base ; Each year PTA creates
a database of volunteers for specific PTA run programs.
- Coordinates the Parent on Patrol Every Morning you are
greeted by one or 2 PTA members who guide you to drop off
your child/children safely at school.
- Coordinates after school Enrichment Programs Several classes
are offered after school, currently Chess Class; OSE Physics
& Chemistry Fun, Violin/Cello & Lego Computer Robotics.
- Prints out a Directory; School wide directory for your
own personal use only is given to you with your membership
- Organizes a Walk-a-Thon as a fundraiser
- Designs and Maintains the school Web Site.
- Sends out an e-newsletter every other week “Brook
Knoll News”.
- Offers Health, Fitness & Nutrition Program.
- Supports Life Lab.
- Coordinates the Yearbook.
- Hosts monthly events for teachers and staff thanks to
our Hospitality Committee.
- Coordinates with the Room Mothers to have parties and
celebrations in each classroom.

Our fundraisers, along with individual donations to
PTA help fund:
- Art & music programs for k to 5th grades
